imageThe Property Management Department and Asset Management Program’s is to ensure that our tenants receive high quality, safe, and affordable housing, to provide high quality property and asset management services for owners, sponsors, investors and other stakeholders, and to ensure the long-term financial and physical viability of the housing developments owned by Chinatown CDC.

The Property Management Division currently owns or manages a total of 24 affordable housing projects, oversees 1,100 housing units and over 2,000 tenants. We keep our buildings clean and secure while offering some of the lowest rents in the City without rental subsidies. We also manage commercial space leased to community businesses and organizations.

The Property Management Department and Asset Management Program’s five year vision is to build the capacity of its operations by improving our compliance performance, building staff capacity and accountability, and streamlining our operations. In addition, we will be re-financing and re-structuring the debt on several properties to ensure their long-term affordability.
